Trainer Bio: Lauren Bishop, LICSW – Westminster Clinical Director
Lauren Bishop brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this training session. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Masters of Social Work from Springfield College, Lauren has provided therapy in various mental health and substance use settings. Her extensive experience includes treating individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality, and mood disorders, as well as supporting those impacted by substance use.
Lauren has worked previously at Swift River Addiction Campuses as their Director of Outpatient Services and at UMASS Harrington Hospital on their dual diagnosis inpatient psych and emergency services teams. She served as the primary therapist for East Brookfield District Court’s Drug Court program, providing group and individual therapy.
